THE KING 2018
This 2018 batch is really special. It could definitely sit anywhere the 2015-2018 range. I’ve been working on and planning to do batch variations since 2020. Recently I got my hands on some really nice materials that I’ve been trying to get in bulk for a long time to really be able to nail pre reform batches.
Through those 2015-2018 years there is what I consider balanced, musky pineapple batches. Almost the quintessential “Aventus” in many ways. Not too much of any one aspect. And that is where THE KING 2018 sits. It’s definitely not a fruit bomb or Smokey batch. It’s just got that authentic, punchy-musky, patchouli, pineapple thing going on in spades.
Top notes - Pineapple, Bergamot, Black Currant and Apple
Mid notes - Birch, Patchouli, Moroccan Jasmine and Rose
Base notes - Musk, Oakmoss, Ambergris and Vanilla
